The program of teaching ethical education deals with the issue of interpersonal relationships and communication in the team, the ability to positively evaluate oneself and other people. It deals with creativity, empathy, assertiveness in action, the influences of real and depicted patterns and elementary and complex prosociality. The aim of ethical education is to shape, in particular, the prosocial behavior of pupils, ie their ability to do good for others without expecting consideration. The development of social skills and ethics is important in creating community in the classroom and in adapting to the school environment. Adopting the right principles leads to the acquisition of desirable habits and patterns of behavior, which are then applied in subsequent work and family life. Textbook concept: The curriculum is supplemented by a number of activities, exercises and tasks on which the student works either individually or under the guidance of teachers in pairs or groups. The textbook is very practical - it allows direct writing in the prepared fields (eg when completing exercises and tasks), has a number of additional infographics, connections from the field of social education, interactive links to sources of interpretation and multimedia files (in the form of QR codes). It also meets the requirement of incorporating elements of work with information technologies into the teaching of the subject (pupil's digital competence). The first part of the textbook covers the following thematic units and lessons:
1. Interpersonal relationships and communication: Getting to know each other / Rules of our class / Recipe for a good classmate / How we communicate / Let's learn to listen / So that communication doesn't hurt / Assertiveness - have you heard of it?
2. Cooperation: What is cooperation? / Our words / How to manage conflict / Change will not surprise us / Listen, do not make assumptions
3. Trust: Can you trust me / Hot shower / We pull together / We don't all have to be the same / How to find trust in a divided society?
