Abstract
The editorial introduces the Discussions and Disputes section of the journal History - Theory - Criticism / Dějiny - Teorie - Kritika 1, 2020. The Editor-in-chief points out the importance of cultivating critical discussions on neuralgic or traumatizing historical themes, such as for instance migrations, antisemitism, state socialism etc.
She invites further voices and perspectives which would elaborate on the complex theme of the role of clerics in authoritarian regimes.
