This study deals with the problems of peer learning and draws conclusions and specific recommendations for the development of peer learning in education in the Czech Republic. It also deals with the issue of interest or lack of interest in peer learning by pupils and students, teachers and school facilities.
It draws attention to the need to include the principles of peer learning at school curricula and to develop an appropriate teaching system. The methods and aims of peer learning can increase the quality of natural science learning and, in our case, chemical education and contribute to the development of key competencies of pupils and students.
