Quantitative metre in Czech psalm paraphrases before 1620

Abstract

The article compares the first two attempts at Czech quantitative verse, the psalm paraphrases of Matouš Benešovský (1587) and Vavřinec Benedikt z Nudožer (1606), and examines their position in the history of Czech verse.
