Abstract
Shared spaces and neighbourhood proximity as a factor in choosing a place to live The article deals with a concept of housing that is rather unique in the Czech environment. It presents the concept, its expansion in Czechia and it also presents the results of a survey in a cohousing-inspired residential project Alfarezidence, which is located in the inner city of Prague.
Attention is paid to the role of neighbourhood proximity and shared spaces in the process of choosing new housing.
