Abstract
The author analyzes the Chinese belt and road initiative. The outlines of the legal framework of the Belt and Road Initiative become clearer symbolically in the year of the 40th anniversary of the beginning of China's legal reform.
At a conference on legal cooperation in the Belt and Road Initiative in July 2018, PRC Minister Wang I (Wang Yi) said that the legal concept of the project should be based on the rule of law and respect for international law and the national law of participating countries.
