"Small, but Ours": The Czech Features of Authoritarian Methods of Governance

Abstract

One of the most pressing problems of the present time is undoubtedly the development of authoritarian methods of governance in many countries around the world. Many authors focus their attention on processes such as those in Hungary, Poland, or Turkey.

International organizations, such as the European Union (EU) and the Council of Europe in the European context, also warn against the increase in authoritarian means of governance as well as against the rise of nationalism leading to negative interference in fundamental rights.
