Abstract

Although some studies indicate there are associations between intrapartum synOT and impaired breastfeeding initiation or earlier cessation, the long-term effects of synOT on breastfeeding are largely understudied. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of synOT on breastfeeding status during the first 9 months postpartum.
