The influence of the primary drug prevention program on the development of specific competencies of pupils and students
Abstract
The research verify the effectiveness of the general primary prevention program "TaTrA D" implemented at primary and secondary schools under the auspices of Jules a Jim, z.ú. The "TaTrA D" program was established in cooperation with the partner organization Czech Coalition Against Tobacco, z. s., and focuses on the prevention of the use of the three most widespread addictive substances – tobacco, marijuana and alcohol – and other drugs.
For my research, I chose to examine the effectiveness of a marijuana program. This is because this substance is most available in the eighth and ninth grade age groups and in the first and second grades of secondary school.
The aim of the research will be to find out whether drug prevention programs effectively contribute to the development of specific competencies of pupils and students at primary and secondary schools in the short and long term. In all cases, I test the data against the null hypothesis.
