Personality and psychosocial Acculturation: A Case Study of the Czech-Slovak Community in Canada

Publication

Abstract

The recent evidence suggests that personality is a significant factor in the process of psychosocial acculturation. Therefore, we will test the hypotheses that assume and predict relations among personality, ethnic identity, perceived cultural distance, acculturation orientation, psychological adaptation and sociocultural adaptation.

This study is set out to explore a sample of the Czech-Slovak Community in Canada.
