Use of the PBIS framework in support of children with challenging behavior at school

Abstract

The following text aims to present an ongoing project exploring possible ways to support children mental health in elementary schools. The project focuses on building a trauma-informed environment and school-wide behavior support in pilot schools, which will be, based on a literature review and communication with Czech and foreign experts, created by implementing an adapted PBIS framework.

The PBIS framework and its impact on students' mental health and behavior is presented in the final part of the text.
