Fish in the Finnish Oral Tradition: Are the "Voiceless" Actually Voiceless?

Abstract

My presentation dealt with the symbolic function of fish in the Finnish oral tradition. I mainly focused on the symbolic function of the pike (hauki) and its closeness to singing and music.
