Abstract

Briefly, the main findings of the study were that truncated PPM1D/Wip1 increased the colon tumor growth in ApcMin animals, by impairing the p53 pathway. For this project, I have helped with developing a robust method for genotyping by restriction enzyme the 'in-house' model bearing truncated Ppm1dT/+, Western Blotting of various tissues for verifying for the presence and stability of the truncation, animal irradiation, histology, and performing plenty of genotyping.
