The concept of preschool education in Germany

Abstract

The aim of the study was to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of introducing compulsory pre-school education in the form of compulsory kindergarten attendance for all five-year-old children. The chapter focuses on the issue in the international context - on the example of the provision and conditions of pre-school education in Germany, it points to the possibilities of supporting children before entering primary education.

It analyzes approaches to the diagnosis and support of preschool children with SEN and language diagnosis in preschool age, together with the link to support measures.
