Abstract

Cult symbols, such as the sun, a wheel or waterfowl, accompany the Bronze Age throughout Europe at least. Recently, the range of these objects was enriched by the accidental discovery of a bronze sculpture of a swan with an upper hole in the hollow body and cut limbs, richly decorated with engraved ornaments with a location in the Liptov Basin.
