Abstract
Dermatovenerology is a unique field in terms of case reports: diagnosis is derived primarily from what we see and secondarily from laboratory and other investigations. It is crucial to get the differential diagnosis right from the start.
All this is brought out in the case studies as presented in the book. Containing almost 40 case reports, the book is a representative cross-section of the entire field of dermatovenerology, covering diagnoses from the entire spectrum of the field - from modern biological therapies for inflammatory skin diseases to oncological diagnoses and their treatment, case reports with rare diagnoses as well as more common diagnoses with an interesting course.
The author's team includes experts from dermatovenerology departments from all over the Czech Republic. The book is aimed primarily at dermatovenerologists and is intended for preparation for speciality training and for everyday clinical or outpatient practice.
