This article aims to introduce the professional public with the current educational reality in the Children's Home Klánovice. Qualitative research methods were used such as interviews, observation and case analysis.
The outputs show considerable diference between the legislative and pedagogical theory on interdisciplinary cooperation and the practice of real-life of the Children's Home Klánovice. The obtained results offer impulses for a realistic conception of education in the environment of educational institutions for the performance of institutional care.
