Lawyer and professor at Charles University Josef Stupecký (1848-1907) and his family: Contribution to the 170th birth anniversary

Abstract

On November 11, 2018, 170 years have passed since the birth of JUDr. Josef Stupecký, an important lawyer, pedagogue, scientist and personality of Czech legal science.

Today, Stupecký's personality is known especially to historians, art historians and lawyers. From 1875 to 1901, Josef Stupecký worked as the editor of the magazine Právník.
