Abstrakt
How did the literary and cultural transmissions from the most western country in continental Europe and the largest country in South America reach the heart of the Old World? The conference will focus on the most important translations created between 1898 and 1948, their translators and other elements of the reception of Portuguese and Brazilian Literatures in the Czech context. It will also present the links between Portuguese and Brazilian writers and characters from the Czech literary world.
