Abstract

We consider teacher intervention in the context of education to be an important determinant of the motivation of pupils with ADHD for school work. The issue is being addressed abroad and is becoming part of research in Czech education.

The aim of the paper is to present a research project, which aims to identify and describe the strategies and approaches of teachers in the education of pupils with ADHD at the 2nd level of primary schools, to identify and specify the school performance motivation of these pupils. Mixed research will use questionnaire surveys and a qualitative focus group method implemented in groups of teachers to collect data from teachers and students.
