experiences, opinions, achievements and failures in research can be the most fruitful instrument that helps new academics to advance their research projects. The publication with the title From the hypothesis to the thesis in translation and interpretation offers the space to participate in the dialogue on translation research carried out at the present time by doctoral students from various universities, especially from the Spanish-speaking world.
In this way, we find ourselves before a compendium of academic projects in different stages of the path from the hypothesis to the thesis whose objective is to become, in a few years, the finished doctoral theses. The reader is offered an overview of international academic interest, which probes the direction of translation studies today and highlights its interdisciplinary and progressive character.
