The Role of the Teacher in the Context of School Success of a Pupil with ADHD - research studies

Abstract

The paper emphasizes the key role of the teacher in the context of school success of a pupil with ADHD, not only in terms of selection and implementation of appropriate interventions and effective strategies, but also in connection with the knowledge and skills of educators to educate this group of students. Using research analyzes, we found out in which area of ADHD teachers show the lowest level of knowledge.

This helped us to identify specific topics of in-service teacher education. We also focused on the specification of the relationship between the knowledge of ADHD and the teacher's attitude to ADHD from the perspective of foreign and Czech experts.
