Abstrakt
Slovenian Book Days is an all-Slovenian festival that takes place every spring in Ljubljana and in partner cities - in 2021 it took place as an intertwining of live and virtual contact. Although the events at the core of the festival are dedicated to Slovenian literature, various artistic practices as well as the presentation of international literature are intertwined through it.
Among the traditional goals of the festival are raising awareness of reading culture, direct contact of the audience with original authors of different generations and drawing attention to the achievements of Slovenian literature. The festival focuses on various current topics and expands the selection of actors working in the field of culture, connecting different generations of literature lovers, authors and publishers and is a popular meeting point for books.
