Abstract

Malignant prolactinoma (MP) is a rare, but the second most common pituitary cancer with an unfavorable prognosis. Management of MP treatment is therefore based on a retrospective analysis of individual cases.

We present a unique case report of a patient who underwent multidisciplinary treatment with primary resection of the pituitary tumor, systemic therapy and subsequent resection of liver metastasis.
