Abstract
The Czech Republic introduced controlled foreign company legislation at the beginning of 2019 as a consequence of its membership in the European Union and the adoption of the ATAD on the EU level. The CFC legislation entered into force on 1 April 2019 and is applicable for the first time for any taxable year starting on or after this date.The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the approach towards CFCs in the Czech Republic.
