Abstrakt
The lecture focuses on redefining the concept of modern literacy in the global society as well as in the ELT (English Language Teaching) classroom. The main approach of the author is to integrate the social nature of meaning with the more "global" means of meaning making, as well as to inquire into how well they work in the classroom and how teachable they are.
