The interview introduces Badiou's book The Immanence of Truths, which concludes his ontological trilogy (Being and Event, Logics of Worlds). In it, Badiou recovers concepts such as eternity, the absolute and the infinite.
But this is the result of his mathematical materialism, not some retreat to traditional metaphysics.
