Abstract
A significant part of the work of Russian philosopher Ivan Lapshin focuses on the philosophy of music. In the period of his emigration in Prague, he devoted himself to studying Czech music.
His essays offer an insight into the mind of Russian intellectual who chooses to interpret several figures and works of Czech music from the point of view of philosophy, psychology and asthetics.
