Abstract
The aim of this paper is to present the content and contribution of Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilitiesas a key human rights convention. After a brief introduction to the genesis of the Convention, we focused on the innovative elements that the Convention introduced into the system of international protection of human rights.
We focused on its main principles.
