Abstract
This article discusses in more detail the possibility of probation imposed on a legal entity as a sanction for a criminal offense. Sanctioning of legal entities is often criticized in professional circles, as well as application practice shows that the system of sanctions may be insufficient.
Although the purpose of sanctioning natural persons differs from the purpose of imposing sanctions on legal entities, all the functions of the sanction must be fulfilled. The Czech legislation therefore needs to regulate the corrective sanction for legal entities, such as the probation, with regard to experience from abroad.
