Abstract

The article brings a revue of the Czech translation of the book Studies in German literature written by Kurt Krolop featuring outstanding authors of German literature such as Franz Kafka, Karl Kraus or Johann Wolfgang von Goethe seen in a broad cultural and political context of their time.
