Abstract
The lecture briefly introduced the Prague German-language author Auguste Hauscher and her three novels (Die Familie Lowositz, Rudolf und Camilla und Der Tod des Löwen). Special attention was paid to the thematic level of these prose works.
Emphasis was placed on the themes that still seem relevant today and can also be received in new contexts.
