Power Point presentation for the lecture given in the final conference of the project Literacy for Life, given after PPUČ at NPI MŠMT. The paper points out the key competencies important for the onset of school mathematics, which develop in complex activities with the main overlap into reading literacy.
At the same time, it presents the pitfalls of current practice and outlines the necessary changes both in the undergraduate teacher training and in the actual work of teachers in practice, in the concepts of SEP PV.
