Abstract
The book presents an overview of issues in the field of environmental research, considering their current relevance and the potential risks that these topics may pose in the future. It includes chapters on the impacts and aspects of global change, issues relating to new types of environmental pollution, as well as topics concerning changes in population behaviour in relation to nature and the communication of environmental issues to the public.
