Abstract
Education with the help of living organisms (animals or plants) is developed in therapeutically or pedagogically oriented activities in all countries of the European Union. Human-animal interactions began to be used as one of the ways to alleviate the deepening alienation of man from nature.
The lecture acquaints with the terminology of education with the help of animals and plants (animal / plant assisted education) and the issue of zoo assistance in schools, draws attention to the spontaneous trend of "return to breeding" and growing interesting plant species in Czech schools and recommends means for school breeding and school gardens. streamline. Appropriately selected model species will be introduced and the possibilities of their use will be outlined.
