Abstract
The study texts acquaint the reader with the basics of the theory of didactic games with an emphasis on ecological and environmentally oriented games as educational and upbringing means. They deal with the game as a pedagogical tool and at the same time a tool for developing theoretical and practical skills.
Emphasis is placed on didactic games aimed at current environmental problems and education for sustainable development. The texts present readers with examples of simulation ecologically and environmentally targeted games as examples for creating their own didactic game activities.
The appendix contains author's games of students of PedF UK, designed and implemented within the teaching of the subject Ecological Games.
