This study deals with the origins and early development of the cult of Ste. Ludmila, specifically with the most importat source - the of Christian.
It responds to objections by David Kalhous and Wojciech Jasiński in their dating of Christian as far back as the late 10th century, providing evidence for placing the legend as recently as the mid 12th century.
