Abstract

The article focuses on the overview of the history and results of levelling measurements, which took place in the years from 1983 to 1998 on geodetic circuit in the Ore Mountains locality of Jezeří. These measurements were interpreted both in the context of ongoing geomorphological processes and with regard to the long-term development of the relief of this part of the Ore Mountains.

Optimal results were brought in particular by repeated levelling measurements on a special levelling polygon Mikulovice - the Jezeří chateau. Geomorphological interpretation of the geodetic measurements in the vicinity of the Jezeří gallery made it possible to determine trends and combinations of tectonic, climatic and anthropogenic influences on the movements of the earth's surface.
