Abstract
This study deals with the definition of the specific ethos of the literary production by Daisy Mrázková, an important Czech author of children's literature. It follows the research of cognitive literary science, the study of the relationship between ethics and literature and the theory of literary education.
The study focuses on how emotional and moral literacy is mediated through the author's work. In the author's literary production, ethics is closely related to noetics, at the same time it is deeply connected to relationships and related moral and ethical dilemmas and situations, to the theme of identity and respect for difference and is set in the broader framework of the cycle of life with a calm acceptance of finiteness and a firm awareness that the world is a good place to live.
