Abstract

Discussing both the musealization of the Holocaust and the Holocaust education, she will exemplify how the Holocaust has been universalized as the ultimate instance of violence against humanity but also as a lesson to learn about solidarity and empathy. Intriguingly, Králová asks how the public reflection and reception of the Holocaust developed from 1952's Anne Frank diary publication to recent hologram technology preserving stories of Holocaust survivors.

Králová was invited by the German Embasy in Prague and HYB4YOU as the first keynote within the series Café Collaboration.
