Novice teachers and students with SEN: influence of individual self-efficacy and collective efficacy

Publication at Faculty of Education |
2021

Abstract

Successful inclusion practices require adequate preparation and support of teachers and their positive attitude towards inclusion. If these conditions are not met, educating students with SEN (special education needs) can increase teacher's workload and work-related stress.

It's important to help teachers in coping with their workload as teacher burnout and turnover are some of the major problems in the Czech education system. The poster included information about the author's PhD. project and other existing research about topics mentioned above: inclusion, teacher's attitude towards inclusion and novice teachers.
