Abstract
The core contents of the publication is a selection of key ideas of selected composers from articles, interviews, etc. in a Czech translation not yet published. The Thoughts of Modern Composers are a counterpart to a similar publication, The Thoughts of Modern Artists.
Individual chapters contain professional studies and characteristics of the work of selected authors. The texts are supplemented by music samples and portraits of selected composers.
