Abstract
An overview of the marginal notes which have various functions: correcting the biblical text, providing explanations and further references, cross-referencing, directing the reader's attention, and the like. Lipnice bible also contains 42 pointing hands (maniculae) showing a specific interest in the religious debate of the time.
