Abstract
The article deals with the relationship between contemporary Czech literature and feminism. It also asks theoretical questions about what such relations can look like and whether we can talk about feminist literature at all, or what can be understood as feminist literature and why.
The author believes that it is more useful to talk about feminist reading than feminist writing. Using examples from contemporary Czech prose and poetry, she outlines several directions that such reading can take.
