Abstrakt
The theoretical section, intended to gain insight into the phenomenon of migration, focused specifically on refugee children and their access to education. The empirical section of the paper targeted the issue of educating refugee children whose school attendance was long-term postponed or interrupted and who now attended an informal educational institution in Greece.
The research aimed to examine education provided in Greece to children living in refugee camps and having their school attendance long-term postponed or interrupted. Having studied the relevant literature, we believe that migration can offer the young people better educational and job opportunities and give them a chance of personality advancement.
All the same, the potential risks of migration should be weighed against its benefits.
