Abstract
The study is devoted to the teaching of biblical sciences at the present Catholic Theological Faculty of Charles University (Czech Republic, Prague) during the 1930s-1940s. It proceeds in the following steps: historical and institutional framework, curricula, biblical study of the Old Testament and the teaching of Semitic languages, biblical study of the New Testament, study of the Old Slavonic translation of the Holy Scriptures.
