The field survey in the Radeč highlands loosely picked up on a long-term multidisciplinary field survey of abandoned charcoal burning sites. In July of 2015, a detailed non-destructive archaeological survey took place in the selected area.
A total of 71 charcoal burning platforms were identified and documented. Within the framework of the surface survey, two platforms in the area around the spot height Hrad (679.6 m above sea level) were selected and archaeological test pits were dug there in July of 2018.
