Abstract
The invention relates to 1-aryloxy-3- (4- (2-hydroxyethyl) piperazin-1-yl) propan-2-ol of formula I, where R is selected from the group consisting of phenyl substituted with 1, 2 or 3 substituents independently selected from the group consisting of methoxy and nitro; and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts with alkali metals, ammonia or amines, or their addition salts with pharmaceutically acceptable acids. These substances are suitable for use as radioprotectants based on apoptosis inhibitors.
