"Sweet in melody and voice": The odes of St. Gregory of Narek through the centuries

Abstract

The article deals with the odes of St. Gregory of Narek in terms of verbal text, the mediaeval neumatic notation and extant melodies, and proposes a new methodology towards a new critical text of the odes.
