Abstract
This study focuses on three manuscripts (Prague, National Library of the Czech Republic, I A 29a; Prague, Knights of the Cross with the Red Star III C 5; Prague, National Library of the Czech Republic, I D 18), that together make up a complete text of the Bible. This Bible was owned and used by Crux of Telč, as is testified by the texts written in his hand in all three manuscripts.
In the study, these manuscripts are described, with an emphasis on Crux's commentary, which is evaluated and analysed. Based on this research, the study attempts to answer the question as to how this commentary arose and what its purpose was.
